The Carlton Bridge

The Carlton Bridge is one of the oldest landmarks in Bath, Maine, having opened in 1927. Spanning the Kennebec River, it has been replaced by a new bridge and is now open only to rail traffic. This postcard probably dates from the late ’40s.
