Commander Hotel

Commander Hotel and Beach, Ocean City, Md.First opened in 1931, Ocean City, Maryland’s Commander Hotel is still in operation today. This original structure was leveled in 1997 and replaced with a modern building.

Very nice! Spent my childhood vacations every summer at Ocean City. I see you’ve changed up the look a bit.

It’s sad, but there’s a whole east-coast world that I’ve never experienced. I’ve traveled all over the country, except for the east coast! I’d like to say that I’ll get there, but I’m pretty booked for the next couple of decades.
That’s right, Donna, yet another change! As you’ve probably already read, I’ve installed a new theme for WordPress, and am in the process of “hotrodding” it now. Right now it’s set up in a simple, understated way, but I may do something bolder when I find the time. In fact, I’m considering a complete turnaround, going with a darkish background that will let lighter/brighter text colors really glow. Doesn’t that sound swell? I can hardly wait to get started! But I’ve got a web-design job to finish first. Drats.
